The queer O-Phase in Karlsruhe
We’re back again!
This year, our Queer Welcome Weekend (Q-Phase) is back in Karlsruhe from November 8th to 10th 2024!
If you’re interested in getting to know our queer student organization, we’d love for you to come along and join us!
We will start with a casual meet and greet on Friday at 6 PM in the Festsaal (at Studierendenhaus) on the KIT Campus.

Join us for the meet and greet
We’re starting our Queer Welcome Weekend (Q-Phase) with a casual meet and greet, where you can connect with other queer students and get to know the members of our queer student organization. We’ll be gathering in the Festsaal im Studentenhaus on the KIT campus.

About Mr. X
Start is at 10:30!
Mr. X is the live version of the game Scotland Yard. Divided into teams, you’ll be on a detective mission to find the mysterious Mr. X. Meeting point is in front of the Studierendenwerk Karlsruhe.
Lunch
We’ll be having a group lunch at the K6-Bar im HaDiKo. Please bring cash (about 3-4 € + drinks).
Afternoon Hangout
You’ll get to enjoy the vibe of our usual meet-ups, with some fun new elements for the Q-Phase! This event will be held at the Queere Zentrum Karlsruhe.
Activities include:
- Arts and Crafts (Bracelets, etc.)
- Board games
- Pub quiz
- Group dinner

About the hike
On Sunday morning, we’ll go on a hike together with Uferlos.
Meeting point: 10:00 at the Karlsruhe main train station in the main hall.
Departure: 10:21 with the S3 train to Untergrombach.
Ticket: Deutschlandticket or KVV fare
Route: approximately 10.5 km, with about 210 m elevation gain

Coffe + cake
To close out the weekend, we’ll get together for a relaxed Sunday afternoon with coffee and cake at Café PRINZs.
